Agreed. Getting Lebron or not though, this class is completely stacked with talent and Thorn and Kiki said we'll be active so even if that means bringing in someone like Joe Johnson, that's a pretty significant move.

Another good point but we would probably still draw more in Brooklyn with a young exciting team than we did with a championship caliber team in NJ.

Well VC wasn't on the finals teams but the finals teams with K-Mart, Kidd, and RJ ran into dynasty's. The Spurs and Lakers were the most dominant teams the NBA has seen since the Michael Jordan led Chicago teams. We also lost to the eventual NBA champions in the playoffs with Detroit (who we lost to in 7 games) and Miami who also won it all that year after they eliminated us. Terrible luck played a huge role in us not getting a single championship out of those teams.

Maybe not but I would still love to have Joe Johnson, Rudy Gay or someone of that caliber. There's a lot of talent in this free agent class. I definetly don't think there's any chance of Wade or Bosh coming here but I still think we're one of the top three likely destinations for Lebron. There are too many rumblings and it makes too much sense for us not to have a legit shot.

Agreed but we don't need to compete with the Knicks. The Knicks are completely irrelevant the Nets outside of them being a divison rival. As long as the Nets draw decent crowds to the games, that's all I care about.

Rarely unfortunately but it's still a 1 in 4 chance of getting it. You're forgetting that the Knicks don't have thier first round pick this year. Utah has it and that would really make me mad if Utah got it considering they don't need it like we do.

True as it is every year. Tough competition only makes it better imo. However if the nets did sign Lebron and we won the lottery and got John Wall...I don't care who you throw at us because we'll dominate any and everything in our way. It's unlikely that we'll end up with both but that would be unreal if we did.
