With the starting five playing for the first time this year it seems they beat the Knicks.
Was nice to see every position able to do something. Our frontcourt dominated dominated the small Knicks... Brook had 21 points 14 rebounds and 4 blocks Yi had 22 points 6 rebounds and 2 blocks looking good Devin Harris turned the ball over too much ended up with 17 points 7 rebounds 8 assists The team shot 51 percent CDR had 17 points in his return. Yi got a nice block and Brook catches an alleyoop. http://www.nba.com/games/20091...o.html#nbaGIboxscore |

I'm glad we beat the Knicks but ony because we have room for error in the lottery standings.
Yi has been playing out of his mind since coming back. I wish we had reason to believe he could stay this good for the rest of his career. If we knew we could get this kind of production from Yi, we would be in insanely good shape for the future. |

Some higher ups wonder if he's worthy of starting. They need another big regardless whether through the draft or free agency.
Sounds easy to me add another good power forward and whoever's better starts. Seems Brook and Yi haven't played good together in a win except against the Knicks....for what it's worth.

After watching him against the Cavs it's obvious if the Nets want to be taken serious they need a tougher power forward.
Yi's 7 ft yet he's getting punked by Varejo. Get physical with him and he bends over and wimpers like a girlee. |
