What do they have to do to stop this skid before they fall COMPLETELY out of playoff contention?? Now I'm getting worried. I feel like they are beginning to get swallowed up by the better teams now. Come on Nets!! Lets get it together before it's to late!!

playoff contention?! let me break the bad news to you but they were never in playoff contention. they are doing well with what they have now, 26-34 is good for the nets , and dont be suprised if they start falling behind because if you look at the next 4-5 games i could only see nets winning one of them, maybe 2

ooh, I think you should re-think that. With a for sure "Hall of Fame" player like Jason Kidd and a great one in Carter, I don't think you should sell them to short just yet.

We need more of an inside presence. From the outside, we have some decent shooters, but we rarely get second chances because of the lack of size. Also, the other teams gets multiple chances on their end. This has made a huge differenece in a lot of games.

I agree. The Nets get dominated in the paint too often. When RJ is healthy again, I would stack our 1,2 & 3 against any team in the league. Nenad may develop into a low-post contributor offensively. That leaves a 4 or 5 who can defend and rebound (like... Kenyon Martin? oops). That will have to be looked at for next year. Until then, I fear the Nets will not make the post season this year. They must be near the bottom of the league in offensive rebounds.

maybe you should re-think that. the nets barely beat the hornets, the hornets!!!!!! if you think they are going to beat miami or even chicago you should think it over, i understand your a nets fan and you want to be hopefull, but when the nets barely beat new orleans in o.t after having a 19 point lead in the first quarter, there isnt much hope.

So you challenge us (Knicks) in a dare-devil race from the cellar! You're on.....
Remember, no matter how bad a year or two or three we ( Knick/Nets) have it could be worse. We could be Golden State Warriors/Atlanta Hawks fans.: flame2 :
