There's a rumor that says the Nets were discussing Carter to the Cavs for Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic.

The only way I would do this is if we could land Geral Henderson at #11 to reaplace Carter.

I know it sounds stupid to think we could improve that way but we would be getting younger, Henderson is head and shoulders better defensively than Carter, Henderson is in the Michael Finley/Kerry Kittles mold where he'll score as much as you need him to and he doesn't require a ton of shots which is a problem when your Pg (Harris) also requires a lot of shots and we would be gaining a lot of cap space.

I think with CDR showing what he could do last year at SF, this could be the way to go for the Nets.

This says the report was false. Carter was awesome for us last year but I still think we would be better off trading him if we can draft his replacement.
