Six years after buying the Nets and promising a move to Brooklyn, Bruce Ratner got final approval Tuesday to build Atlantic Yards, starting with Barclays Center. Ratner beat a Dec. 31 deadline by eight days. The approval permits the ESDC to start condemning property immediately. The ESDC expects all property to be in state hands by Feb 1. No date has been set for groundbreaking. It’s expected within a month.

The "Master Closing" was today, everything went as planned evidently and groundbreaking will take place within a month!!
