Brett Yormark talked about the sate of the franchise.

The Nets keep saying they're going to spend big and be "very aggressive" in the FA market.
Lebron is obviously everyone's top choice, I don't want Chris Bosh here and I can't see Wade seriously considering us or leaving Miami period. Secondary but still great options for me are Joe Johnson and Rudy Gay. I would be thrilled out of my mind if we landed Joe Johnson who imo is the most underrated player in the NBA. Rudy Gay is a terrific player and he would improve us but I don't think he could step in and make us a contender like Johnson would. We also have to keep in mind that in 2011 there's a rather nice class of free agents...headed by a Brooklyn native...Carmelo Anthony. |

That's the small forward the Nets need.  Until then Mike Miller, Raja Bell and Brad Miller would go nice with John Wall and a big forward in the draft. |
