Schmendrik,Keith is giving you hope. As bad as the Mets have been they have won more and are closer to first place than this time last year. It is obvious that is what he is trying to convey. Can't you see that? Perhaps if we can get Reyes,Beltran, Delgado,Maine,P-u-t-z and a half sane Ollie Perez back in the not too distant future this team will instantly become better than last years and we may salvage something yet in this quirky division.I wouldn't hold my breath,but Keiths brings to light a good point.
Thank you Lucky. The point I was making is the Mets turned it around last year to go into first for awhile. If they can stay afloat which it may look like they can because the Phils for some reason can't win either the Mets will have a fresh team in a few weeks. You never know in the world of baseball.
