As I said in a thread I started the other day. This is, at best, a .500 team, and it's absolutely boring to watch. It's boring to watch even when they win. I just don't see sparks, man, I don't see sparks. It always seems as if they're playing by rote, and sometimes they win that way, sometimes they lose. Even if they're ahead, it just seems like a 9 inning game is about 2 or 3 innings too long for these guys. They always just seem to give it back. As I said in the borrrrinnnng thread, they are what they are. Period. And all the wishing and gnashing of teeth won't make one iota of a difference in the overall outcome. Too bad the Rays don't broadcast locally. Maybe they're more of a compelling story this season.

Stinks that I'm usually the only one in the chats these days.

78 RPM Records ...
* Records recorded at this speed were
discontinued in the late 60's . They were mostly used for children's songs and story tellings . The size of these records were
in between that of "single" 45's and "Long Playing" 33 Albums. The average playing time
was 10 to 12 minutes per side.

45 RPMs .... 45's were the samllest of the group
Were used throughout the lifetime
of Vynil records and were used to hear
2 single songs one on each side. In almost all cases the 45 had a known or hit song on side A
with a far lesses known often terrible song
from the same artist(s) on side B. the avearge playing time was 4 minutes per side.

33RPM's ... along with 16's they were the largest in size of the group and like 45's were produced throughout the lifetime of Vynil records . The 33's greatly refered to as "albums" had several full songs on each side
in most cases from the same band or artist.
The avearge playing time for a 33 was aprox 20 minutes per side.

16 RPMs ..
These were used mostly to record speaking
engagements and lectures ( No music )
The avearge playing time was 40-45 minutes per side .

I'm doing a little work here and took a break, looked at the computer and saw Fla had tied the Mets. I was about to write something like : SOSO (same old same old) and just see, if, at the end of the season, we come up heads (we win) or tails (we lose), because it just seems like that. One day up, one day down, just hoping it ends the right way, because it's the same story every other day, or even every day, with our bullpen, and it's not going to change. BUT, then I read your first couple of Bugs Bunny lines, just chuckled to myself, smiled, and just skimmed a little more of what you read. I haven't really done justice yet to reading what you've written, but for the little bit I've read, THANK YOU. Thank you for making it all seem so silly.

thank u brain, i just clicked in assuming people were keeping it up to date, and on page 5 of this thread, is a post i made in 2008 bout a pitcher looking like chris redman-atl falcons qb, cmon guys!!!!
