No surprise about Maddon--it would have been a crime for anyone else to get it.

I'm a little surprised at Lou, though--I might have voted for Charlie Manuel. Even though the votes happen after the regular season and don't take post season into effect, he still managed to pilot the Phillies to their second straight NL East title while having to send his no. 2 starter (Brett Myers) to the minors at one point and for half the season, had about two quality starting pitchers (Cole Hamels and Jaime Moyer). That's impressive.
