What would you do at this point? Does anyone know the latest offer made, not so much in dollars but in years?
I would offer a two-year contract with a team option on year 3. I believe that this would be somewhere in the middle of where both sides are now.
Also, I hope Johnny recognizes how well he hit in the new stadium, and how great it is to be surrounded by all the talent assembled.

If you look at damon through out his career and if history repeats itself he will go where the money is.

i would love to have damon back, but from what i read and hear his price is way too high for the yankees at this point. i think the yankees will look for a cheaper option.

i agree that its damons best interest to come back too with the stadium and the talent he will be surrounded by.
