Tonight is the last installment of The George Michael Sports Machine. He was great when it started because many of us in the tri-state area did not have cable, so he condensed and re-capped tons of highlites and did a great job.
Also, not many people remember, but he was the color-guy on the Islanders telecasts on channel 9, with Tim Ryan, back in the mid to late 70's.

i liked that show alot he was excellent and yes i do remember that . only problem with the show was that it came on very late at night so i couldn't always watch it growing up
