I'm not a big fan of professional tennis, but even I know an overrated stiff when I see one. For someone who is supposed to be a top tier player, this guy does more choking than the Boston strangler. Seriously, when the heck is the last time Roddick has won anything? He is obviously nothing but an overhyped media creation.

Im not really serious, but the more I think about it, a lot of success comes simply from confidence, and he used to be in the lime light a lot more, and recently his fallen off the radar. It seems like a vicious cirlce for him: he's got confidence bc he's not in the popular guy he used to be, and he's not the popular guy he used to be bc he's got no confidence.

whats overrated about him? he gets far enough in tournaments to be 3-5 in the world...anyone who says he is better than Nadal or Fed is crazy

Eh, i wouldnt be surprised to see Rafa get knocked out earlier at the Open...a guy like Roddick or Blake could knock him since they hit their shots with so much pace and Flushing nowadays is faster than Wimbledon

Andy Roddick can win a another major, he just needs to catch a break. He can beat Nadal on hard courts and he got to hope that somebody upsets Federer. By the way Richard Gasquet (who beat Roddick at the wimbledon) is going to be top 5 player soon
