Not that I want him or anything, but TSN is reporting that after a sit down talk with Edmonton, he is ONCE AGAIN refusing to waive his no trade clause..

do you think he wants to come to the rangers?

I think the Rangers are his top choice but he would accept a trade to a few others.

With that said if we're gonna make another big move I think it will be for a #1 center.

not to mention..now Ottawa is required to pay the $4 million dollar bonus to Dany - which will make any offer for him require a bigger package in the end..

Actually its the opposite, if murray wants another yashin on his team thats fine but if he's actually going to deal him and get someone who WANTS to play for ottawa he's gonna need to swallow his pride and get whatever that is left.(that heatley wont reject lol)

Not true at all, Heatley's value now diminished to all time lows, he is now seen as a headcase and a big risk. Whos to say next team he goes to he won't demand a trade 20 games in and disrupt their season? that being said if they can take back a bad contract from us im more then willing to take a risk.

We have Gaborik no need for Heatley but it wouldn't hurt Wink

We would need to send salary the other way AND keep our young guys...Sather hasn't budged, and I'm glad he hasn't.

Unless they get so desperate they practically give us Heatley, I don't think it's happening.

If anything, Sather's going out to get a center...he hinted at it...which scares me considering we've been linked to Brad Richards in Dallas who has a cap hit over 7 mil...not saying that's who we're getting but I can't trust our compulsive spender of a GM.
