"hockey news", meaning what? I think there was plenty of news around July 1st and the subsequent weeks, no? Lately though, I agree...it's been DEAD.  I cannot wait for this season to begin!  |

usually the post has an article about the Rangers on Sundays, but not lately. You guys are right, there is no hockey news other than the Sundin debacle that is on going. I can't wait for at least the NHL network to start up their show again

you should get an XM radio, pretty cheap and offers a lot. They have hockey talk every morning and they cover all the games when they start. My radio is definitely worth its wait in Gold. Its filled that void over the summer. Football and Baseball just dont do it anymore for me

There's no news because there's nothing happening. The Rangers, like many other teams, made their major moves early and spent to or near the cap limit.

This offseason has been dead. I usually only see stuff here. The papers have been neglecting hockey, and focus their attention elsewhere (even the Knicks and Nets have been getting more attention). Hockey is a neglected sport here and deserves more attention.

It's a shame that the NY papers have a lack of coverage in the offseason. Even during the season, they never get back page. Never fails. I know hockey is the most popular NY sport, but people here do like it, and we want news on it. So what if brett Favre didn't use the bathroom today?! You just missed him! Who cares?!
