If they won't penalize a team when the fans throw junk on the ice, the team's timeout should be taken away.
Last and least, if there's ever a poster game for the losing team NOT to get a point, it's this one. the Rangers deserved nothing last night!

Can't disagree with any of your takes on both posts. Well done.

I just googled up tony amonte to see what the hell he's up to and I stumbled upon the Eric Lindros-Forsberg trade(which Amonte was a part of in the NYR offer). The trade was: Peter Forsberg, Ron Hextall, Chris Simon, Mike Ricci, Kerry Huffman, Steve Duchesne, a 1st round selection (Jocelyn Thibault) in 1993, a 1st round selection (later traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs, later traded to the Washington Capitals - Nolan Baumgartner) in 1994, and $15,000,000 cash to the Nordiques. The Flyers received Lindros.

Let's analyze

Forsberg was obviously an integral part of Colorado's cup runs

Thibault was eventually traded for Patrick Roy

Hextall and 23rd pick(which turned out to be Todd Bertuzzi) was traded to NYI for Mark Fitzpatrick and the 14th overall pick, who turned out to be Adam Deadmarsh

And lastly, Mike Ricci was traded for Shean Donovan and a 1st round pick who turned out to be......Alex Tanguay.

So basically, The Colorado Avalance franchise was built via that one trade. Eric should be inducted into the Hall of Fame. As a builder.

Pompton Lakes, NJ---Next to Wayne

Nobody talks hockey unless the Rangers loose, then everyone hears it on the news and has to tell me the score the next day.

Head Bang If they were hockey fans it wouldn't bother me.
