i seem to remember him ,win a fight but the guy wasin't a big name and he was ACTUALLY DUBINSKY'S size for once.

thats gotta be the worst penalty i've seen in awhile , cally gets called for what charging? kovalevs helmet fell off yet he didn't hit the ground or anything , don't blame callahan if kovalev dosen't strap his helmet on.
And he didn't leave his feet and hit his shoulder but his hands slid up and knocked his helmet off. Bad penalty imo.

it's hard for me to hate Kovy or even be upset at him ... of course I don't want him to do well when he plays against us and I don't want him taking cheapshots at our guys but I will always love him for how he helped us win the Cup in 94 ...

Now Dubinsky has some set of guts BUT he can't fight, at least not at this point .. maybe if he gains more weight and gets some lessons from Colton, but I'd rather he not fight at all but it's good that he is willing even if he knows he won't come out on top, most of the time ... the rest of the team needs to back him up Applaude

Dubinsky is quickly becoming one of my favorite Rangers. I love it! On a side note, when did Kovalev suddenly become a cheap shot artist? Last game against us he plants a blatant elbow to Hollweg's face, tonight he hits two Rangers across the face with his stick. What the hell is wrong with him??

He's a much matured player now. I still remember his first few years here, he frustrated the crap out of everybody.

Well if you do remember, Mike Keenan sat him a few games in 94 during the regular season for taking one too many high sticking penalties Cool

Actually the thing he always got benched for was taking long shifts. He aklso got sat after the suspension for tripping Dale Hunter.
It's a shame that Dubi has to be the guy to step up and fight. Also why didn't Komisarek get an extra penalty for roughing when he was pounding on Dubi's head while he was facing the boards? I hate Canadien fans, they are such whiners and the refs feel obliged to call penalties. The league wants the Canadiens to do well, it's always been that way. NHL referees are so gutless, I really want to see a coach or GM let them have it in a post game interview.
