It's only 2 games in and the Rangers WILL get things going. And even when they do, I'll miss Brandon Prust - who gave this team every ounce of his energy, EVERY shift. A guy like that, combined with the chemistry he had with his teammates - was WORTH KEEPING.

Can't disagree with any of these takes. How come Torts can't see what all of us can see regarding the capabilities of Rupp? But Rupp is a glue guy and he's always yapping at the other team's players and getting them off their games.

The addition of Pyatt was a good one. I like the guy and his size is much needed.

I don't think it the hype that is hurting this team. I think its is mostly due to the amount of player turnover that happened in the offseason. Nash, Pyatt, Halpern, Asham, heck even Kreider can be thrown in there because he really only played a small amount of games. Thats 5 new forwards out of 15. Thats a lot. Its going to take time to get accustomed to the system and their new teammates. We have to be patient here, which is tough considering last years success.
