Thanks for the interview. Naslund looks like he is focused. Hopefully he can rekindle that scoring touch again. I can't wait for the season to start.

Not a good answer on why marcus has struggled lately. Does he think coming here he will get his old linemates back? Did not look comfortable with Giannone. Giannone is a jerk. He thinks he is the ultimate interviewer. yeh, right!

His answer was fine , first he lost his linemates, than vancouver changed from up-tempo to "trying" to play shutdown hockey and he didn't go with the flow sort of speak.

Whats all this about giannone? the guy is just trying to do his job , much less instead of having to enjoy whatever is left of the summer, give him a break sheesh.

Giannone's a good interviewer, and very good when he's on MSG NY.

I think he handles all of his interviews well, better than Trautwig.

At least john shows some emotion...

Giannone knows his hockey. He is a good interviewer and tells it like it is. I enjoy listening to him. As for Naslund we will just have to wait and see. Personally I think he is going to do well with the Rangers this year. I can see his point about his decreased production with Vancouver last year. I think this year he will thrive on a more offensive team. The guy is still very capable.

Five votes for Giannone and one against. I lose, but still feel he does not connect with the players very well. I personally do not like the way he telegraphs his questions. And for that I don't think he is as sharp on hockey as you may think he is.

The question asked to Naslund was concerning his drop off in production. I may have been too harsh on him but the point is that he will have another two linemates this year and you can't use that as an excuse for previous dropoffs when your coming to a new team. A new system yes. But I also think marcus was uneasy during the interview and did not mix his words well. All because of Giannone in my opinion. Disagree if you will. I also think that marcus will do well here because of the change in scenery. Adapting to new linemates takes a positive attitude as well. And that he will have. Out of all the players we signed this summer, Naslund is the most intriging one for me.

Everyone has an opinion about Giannone, that's fine. As far as players we acquired this summer. I am more excited about Zherdev. This guy is going to be awesome and a fan favorite in no time.

If you want to check out a good interviewer check the one with mats Sundin on You tube. The reporter's name is Bjorn and just came out yesterday. Good insight on the dilemma facing mats. This guy kept the questions coming without blinking an eye. Giannone should take some lessons from him. ( shut up, Wade ) Sorry about not giving you the link. Also check the interview on yahoo NHL sports with Bob Gainey on his talk with Mats this past weekend. Not much news other than the Canadiens still pitching his services.

Whatever Wade, I really don't care what you think. Your really getting a little too sensitive for me. I have an opinion about Giannone and its like I'm a traitor. You know, if you want to stop responding to any points I want to make do you really think your going to get an argument out of me?

You can have your opinion, you just can't act like an *** while expressing it.
