If they can't score PP goals with the personnel they have now...seriously Redden AND Rosival. Zherdev, Naslund, Dawes, Drury, Gomez, Pru. not to mention Mara who can also score.

They SHOULD have a good PP this year, but then again they should of had one last year...this team's a mystery lol.

Much-maligned defenseman Bryan McCabe bid adieu to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday, but not before pocketing $2 million U.S. on his way out the door.

McCabe, who had a no-trade clause in his contract, agreed to the arrangement a few weeks back but wanted to collect his signing bonus with the Maple Leafs on Sept. 1 before it was made official.

He will be paid $4.15 million in each of the next three seasons by The Florida Panthers as part of a 5-year, $29-million pact signed on June 29, 2006.

I gurantee McCabe will look like a #1 defenseman on that mediocre panthers defense.

The Anaheim Ducks re-signed Teemu Selanne to a 2-year deal Sunday.

The team had to wait until trading D Mathieu Schneider to Atlanta on Friday in order to make the deal possible, but remains $1.2 million US over the NHL's $56.7-million salary cap.

Selanne will earn $3.25 million this season and $2 million next year.
