The best ever hockey announcer in the entire tri state area was the one and only, "He Shoots, He Scores" "Yes" Marv Albert.The man did the best play by play on the Radio that I have heard until this day.

Talking about Home Town announcers, going back to the good old days there was Wynn Elliot who use to do ranger game in the days of the Rangers Gag line. I remember Wynn doing a Ranger Game on TV and the Gag line was coming down on a 3 on 1 break away. And it went something like this.
"Rangers on a 3 on one break away, Ratelle has the puck, over to Gilbert Back to Ratelle, over to Hatfield, Shoot Vic, Shoot"

Now I am not sure exactly how the call went, but the one thing that I am sure of was when Wynn Elliot said: "Shoot Vic Shoot"

I never forgot that, and when Hatfield Shot the puck it was a goal. I was LMAO when Elliot said that.

Good call on Marv. I LOVE Kenny Albert as well. He should really move from the radio booth to Sam's chair. Sam needs to turn it in.
