Nothing groundbreaking, just minor better graphics ans some minor improvements. Will never buy a EA Sports game year after year again.
Eastside Hockey Manager from SI still the best NHL based game out there.

I wish MSG would be called MSG and not New York City Arena.

Supposedly there going to have real team intros.

And they are holding back revealing one big feature, I wonder if it will be icon passing.

I am more a fan of the 2k games then EA.

NHL 2K8 was a great game

well nhl 08 got better ratings than 2k8

Last gen I preferred the 2k hockey games, now I prefer the EA ones a bit more.

nhl 08 was one of the best sports games of all time. no doubt about it.

They better have more equipment, newer equipment, and more customizable equipment. I'm such an equipment *****, specially in the game. I would update it whenever one of the Rangers players changed something.

why care about the equipment? its the score that counts!

It's just one of the little things. Ever play NHL Hitz 04? Now it may have been arcade 3 vs 3 hockey. But the create a team mode was awesome. You build up your players stats and you get new equipment unlocked to you which boosts yours stats.

Now I'm not looking for the same thing, but its annyoing seeing an Easton Synergy SL, which came out in 06 still in an 09 game.

True, tho with 09 coming out, I hope they don't just tweak it. I'd like to see more to improve the game.
