Hold LB. They made it so those moves are no longer "automatic" so you select which deke. So when you hold it all the way to one side you hold the puck with one hand outreached. Which is great for protecting the puck, and then throw in the protect puck feature I can take the puck up the wing and drive right to the net. It's so awesome.

They also made the puck physics better so the puck doesnt just warp to your stick when you do those dekes. Thats why it may seem harder. Its cuz you actually have to slip it through. Defense is so much easier to play with the defensive skill stick.

i know the game comes out the 11th but does anyone know if thats the date it ships if you preorder?

Honestly it all depends. Last year it was the shipdate. So last year people in canada got it first, then we got it the next day. It doesnt really matter if you preorder, all that means is you have a reserve copy. They first said Sep 9, a Tuesday, which is the normal game ship date, but this says 11 Sep which is a thursday. So it may be a release date this time. All I know is I'm making phone calls to EB on 11 Sept.

the game ships on the 9th and is in stores the 10th

you should get it on the 10th like everyone else.

Gomez, Drury, Naslund all take ratings hits. Staal and Zherdev improve from those top players. I guess that means they made Roszival less than a 79 lol. Too bad we dont' see Henrik's rating.

Also looks like I'm going to have to edit Dubinsky again to make him faster. He is def not a 78 speed.

Anyone have ps3 and know how to shoot a one-timer slapshot? I am trying to wind up before the puck gets there but it doesn't work.

I got the game this morning(360) looks crisp , only difference i hate is that everything stepped up a level , Rookie is now Pro from 08 , pro is now superstar from 08 and superstar is now all-star from 08 , i dont dare talk about all-star in 09.

anyway the way on the 360 is , when you pass you just fire the puck not wind up and it should come out a slaphot (never heard of a one-timer wrist shot lol)
