When the season began, I was angry/depressed/dis-interested and other bad adjectives about Islanders hockey this season. I mockingly played up looking forward to the 2010 Draft Party.
And though this party may still happen, I have become quite impressed with this team, their energy, and being able to watch these kids develop.

Moulson has been a revelation and Tavares has shown more all around ability than expected. Our goaltending is miles better than last season and now that he is healthy Andy Sutton has surprised the heck out of me! Our Isles are watchable once again! That said, this euphoria can suddenly come tumbling down if their future isn't in the Metropolitan area.

As long as they stay in the Metro area and retain their identity as the NY Islanders as well they should(With a slight alteration of the geographical emblem on our beloved logo)in Brooklyn or Queens, that would be fine with me.

Hope I didn't jinx them with this posting. They didn't look too good in Minny or St Louie.

Nah,Isles1972,the WALL is always just around the corner with this franchise. They certainly appear to have hit it. Streit has been playing uninspired hockey all season and Gervias, well,is what he is. Sutton's steady play 'at home' has temporarily saved our bacon. Hopefully that last minute goal in Minny hasn't set a tone and began the proverbial ugly boulder rolling down hill. Our defensive core overall is too thin to compete seriously down the stretch of close games for any appreciable length of time. This team is watchable however, and hopefully will remain so. Again, the uncertainty of this Organization's future in the Metro area is quite unsettling with disenfranchising this fan always in the back of my mind. It would be tragic if all along we have emotionally invested our time to a lame duck hometown Franchise after all is said and done. "Out with it Charles!" This blackout of 'Lighthouse' news has gone on long enough. We bleed Orange,White and Blue and have a right to know here we stand! In a few days it will be two months since we heard a peep out of anyone connected with the Future of your Franchise!!!!

Hello Isles fans,so far so good I like what i see in this team.......Youth and Ricky is making a comback.
It's absolutly amazing what a top pick can make for a team and 60 shot stopped by Rollie the goalie.........Isles are at or above 500 I have watched every isles game and Billy jaffe is da man. Also Nhl live is fantastic as well as creative,Ej radick is da man.

So are Islander fans,it's nice to see Trent hunter healthy fans.........Isles hockey is where it belongs above .500 yes baby!!
