US just beat the Swiss. Mark Streit played great in all the Swiss' games. Just happy we escaped with the win. Later is Canada-Russia which should be great.
My only complaint about NBC's coverage is having to listen to Milbury. Last night he chastised Montreal for not getting Streit signed, but gave no props to Snow. And of course, unless I missed it, nobody on NBC (while gushing over and over about Parise) has blasted Milbury for passing him over for Nilsson.

Zach Parise, Roberto Luongo, the list goes on. I just hope that Matt Duchene doesn't join it.

Oh what might have been.

You had to mention Matt Duchene. I'll be terribly disappointed if a refreshed Tavares doesn't begin to resemble an overall 1st round pick!

From Sunday's NY Post; Larry Brooks:
*******************************************

* Ryan Miller, America's goalie, is what Rick DiPietro was supposed to be when Mike Milbury traded Roberto Luongo, Olli Jokinen and either Marian Gaborik or Dany Heatley for him 10 years ago.

Seems like a good topic for an intermission show on NBC, doesn't it?

Another view would be: Roberto Luongo is what Roberto Luongo was supposed to be when Milbury drafted him around the same time.

Yah to see his face everywhere in the media now after destroying the Islanders is a absolute slap in the face for Isles fans all over. He's a discrace to the Nhl and yet they need his insight? He's horrible and he'll never land a Job anywhere in Nhl front office, nor coaching job either. My real question regarding the olympics is why didn't Kyle Okposo make Team usa roster or Josh bailey or did Burke allready know what players to select?

Once again another Dissapointing year for all islanders fans nationally after thinking John taveres could lead this team into the Playoffs.
Bye-Ricky D and also several Islanders.
Tough to be an Isles fan.
