As of right now:
Striet and gerveis
Witt-Sutton
meyer-Hillon which has been a very solid player from bridgport.Martinek is done is a void to this team. But the pp is getting better.
Further add double shifts from Silky mark and eventually Hillon,Isles could use another Defensman as of right now.

But I like how this team is playing and they work hard.Where the bleep is weight?
He's still hurt?Fans had better hope that striet stays healthy really. But Isles look good.
Roloson rocks.......Read Ricky is close to returning to the ice,see how that happens eh???

Let's gooooooooo Islanders!!!!!! Hockey Chat

Yikes. And now Sutton is out. If this guy could ever stay healthy he would be close to great. Let's hope it will heal and not become a lingering issue.
Also, I read in several sources that, being near the cap floor and by having bargaining chips available, Charles has given Snow the OK to add to the roster.
Most "experts" believe that if we are still in contention after the New Year, Snow will be a player. We'd take a smaller cap hit after the holiday and Snow says he will not tear the team apart ala Milbury by sending away our young studs. Perhaps lesson learned from the Smyth, Linden, Kvasha and Yashin deals.

Something had better be done SOONER rather than later. At this point in time it is very dangerous to have Tavares and our other promising youngsters to become apart of a group that no longer is capable of competing. Environments such as that could become contagious and career damaging. That is what has already commenced due to our shockingly horrible defensive core. There will never be any offensive flow should the Gervais,Meyer's and yes,Streits fail to display strong enough sticks to get the puck out into the neutral zone out of harms way.
