For what it's worth,This team plays for pride and heart.Outstanding game tonite and overall they are a team that plays hard,for Isles fans that want them to lose,I know why with the upcoming draft-However I love their heart right now.My Stars for this team right now except goaltending are as......Defense-Meyer-Hillen and macdonald.Streit is in a class by himself Vet player and another D-man is My man Trevor Look alike Gillies.

Ateast they will make it interesting at the End and I just want Pride in this Isles team,especially The flyers-pens and rangers.

How long is this rebuild going to take? A little longer if we move out of prime draft position. And for what? A few meaningless late season wins? Ask the Devils franchise how these types of wins cost them Mario Lemieux.
Right now we are three points from 29th (2 from the bottom) and a chance at the #1 pick. We are also 4 pts from 23rd and a whoop'd'do.

According to the standings in Newsday we ARE NOT third from the bottom. True, we are tied for third BUT thanks to these moronic wins of late we have more w's than the teams with which we're tied and as such we're actually FIFTH from the bottom. This means we could in reality pick third OR seventh as things stand now. The difference between a Scott Scissons/Taylor Pyatt or a Jagr/Nolan.

Anyway can we import Jerry Manuel/Willie Randolph to captain this ship? I settle for a bag of Met Mojo dust in the locker room!!!

Well i see this happening,just my thoughts?
At the draft,Isles move Weight or maybe a pick and move up to the 20th selection.
Add atleast one or 2 Free agents.
Deal A couple of players from bridg.
Isles need to get a steal at the draft,hasn't happened in a while since spezza and Chara.
