Got into LA last night around 11:30PM EST. Put on Sportscenter in the hotel and Wow!:
1-Islanders beat Wings 6-0

(We were all pumped up about Tavares, but Moulson and Schremp have been pleasant surprises. Bailey has 13 points in last 7 games)
2-Seemed like a classic at MSG in Devils 1-0 win.
(Any Brouder/Avery spats?)
3-Lane Kiffin jilts Tenn to go to USC?
(Maybe Al Davis was right; Kiffin is a snake)
4-Pete Carroll officially in at Seattle.
(SC program under review...Charlie Weiss made comments a while back throwing Carroll under the bus....hmmmm, where there's smoke, there's usually fire.)

Boy that game ticked me off. A coworker asked if I wanted to go with him and his kid. I stayed home and they picked up a couple of tix in the parking lot for 20 a pop!

Should have went. Sounded like a great game.

Oh Isles fans Update,I watched the game from A neighbors house eh.....Oh Wings fans at that.
Best game of the year and i haven't missed many Isles games this year,Cancelled the Nhl centerice but My friends have it.
The Islanders at home this year are hot and so far the Powerplay is solid,they work hard and they are getting great goaltending from Roloson.

Something nice happened when Ricky D came back maybe?Nice pick up thus far for Isles:
Moalson-Shreamp and not the shellfish.
Comeau is very solid.
Redwings look like bleep-Never seen them turn the puck that much ever,they looked horrible against the Isles.

Isles powerplay is back,nice striet is hot again.But Rollie is on fire right now.
Now the Isles have a nice 1-2 goalie Insurance rotation thanks to a finally Ricky D is back.

Back to .500 for now,I like this teams attitude.
Kyle Okposo and Nielson are nice playmakers.
oh and i also like Bergenhiem when healthy.

So far,So good.Islanders should make the playoffs and bleep Espn and other negative bleeps never gave this team a chance.
