effectively ended his second go-around with the Islanders when he agreed to a one-year contract with Djurgarden of the Swedish Elite League.


A sign that a lockout is upon us?

A no loss w/o Marius and there will be a lockout and a long one.

I think he was on his way out anyway, lockout or not. BTW the lockout is inevitable. I can't believe both sides walked away like that. Sometimes I think they don't know how dire the situation is. Any kind of extended lockout could ruin the NHL, in the states especially.

i think the organization needs to step it up and add young kids that we have at the winger spots into the roster. We have plenty of young guys who i think can be just as effective as he was last year.

The players definetly know that there is going to be a lockout.

Mariusz Czerkawski made lots of media friends during his NHL stints.
Now he�ll be doing it with Sweden�s Djurgarden club.
Don�t expect him back in North America again.

I just hope the NHL is back in North America again !
