good lord, reese is the best gm in the nfl hands down.

i'm guessing robbins is gonna get released because canty is getting 7 mill per year for 6 years.

awesome signing and a awesome offseason ... and the draft isn't here yet.

i dont think robbins is going anywhere, but our d-line and front seven have definitely been bolstered this off season.

Something is going to have to happen, they have five good inside guys now, these two along with Cofield, Robbins and Alford. Maybe someone as part of a deal for a WR? Braylon Edwards anyone??
Anyway you look at it, WR is really the only need position they have now. Anybody they draft is just icing on the cake, they don't even need their picks to come in and produce right away.

Canty is a nice player but for 7 mil a year you can have him. Good luck buddy!

seven mil a year does seem excessive for him, but he is only 26 and is coming into his prime so i think he'll be a good player for us down the road

It's hard to question Reese, almost everything he does turns to gold. The guys around him will make Canty that much better.

really the only problem i have with reese signing boley, bernard, and canty is we now have those 3 plus osi, tuck, robbins, kiwanuka, alford, etc. We are overstocked on the line but currently on our roster are two safeties, phillips and johnson. I'm pretty sure we need more of them. we spent alot of money on the line when we are extremely thin at safety.

Its a good move to add depth on the D line, safety is most likely where Reese will go in the draft. or WR if Plax is gone

I feel this was a very smart move by Reese. Last year with all the injuries on the line, they are taking precautionary measures. Getting Canty adds alot of depth on the line. I feel the Defensive Coordinator has added a new wrinkle to the defense.

The Canty move is a good move but I think we need to move onto Safety and CB. Our secondary is still weak

cc brown signed from texans. he was hurt most of last year but put up real solid numbers in '07. He can play both free and strong, its a good move. i heard the rumor a few days ago, so ive done my research. also read may move terrell thomas to a safety spot as well and draft a few corners on the first day. i think this defense is way better then last years, and that is scary...

Its better if the players preform up to par, still gotta count players getting hurt and such. So far so good for Reese and co. Still think our secondary is the way to go come draft time
