been a Jets fan is hard, very hard over 20 years of this and I keep coming back for more believing that sooner or later this team will do the impossible but each time my heart is broken, as they say a promise is comfort to a fool, and I must the biggest fool around cause every sunday I come back for more

lets hope during the bye the coaching staff can work on the problems areas, also I am having a hard time believing that the Fins are better than the Jets but they have beaten us 3 games straight I guess the trash talk was for nothing

This is Jets entitlement,Red! It is their culture and has been since Super Bowl 111!! If not hail marys or injuries, mud(The Walt Michaels 1982 Miami fiasco) beats them. They corner the market on frustration! How the hell can a turkey such as Ted Ginn duplicate 100 yard KO returns and become basically the deciding factor in a game such as this? The second one was ridiculously stupid. He actually stopped in front of a potential tackler who also hesitated. Now the celebrated Westoff gang bites the apple!!! Head Bang

I guess its rough times for us, eh? Our favorite nine is in the process of licking their wounds, the best team money can buy is currently in the Series, our basketball team is still feeling the effects of a second incompetant GM (Thomas) ruining them for years to come, and we have yet another year of football where our boys in green, find new and unusual ways of ripping our hearts out and stomping on them.

Never thought I'd be saying this back in May, but the Islanders are the one team whose progress whether good or bad will keep me in tune until spring training.

just when we thought we were going to win, especially after that fourth down conversion. I began to think how nice would it be to beat the dolphins in the final moments so their fans could feel the same thing we felt our last meeting. thats when reality sunk in and i began to realize the tragic mistake i had just made. i gave my jets the benefit of the doubt and once again was left standing alone. Why would i think my jets could pull this one out, they just tease me, every week. i HATE the jets.

As Mel Brooks always said;"Life Stinks!" The Isles??? Jeff Tambellini?? Do you actually expect his recent surge to be a blossoming?? Either he will soon fall flat on his face once again,or he will become a 50 goal scorer for the folks in Hamilton Ontario!! The Mets?? The Jets?? The Knicks?? Oye Ve!!! At least I have my Penn State Nittany Lions and Hershey Bears to hang onto! Frowner

Weeb. Then there was nothing IMO until Parcells.

Rex Ryan has talked a good game but so did Herm.
So there are questions about the HC BUT we ALSO have a rookie QB.
I won't use the recent injuries as the excuse but rather the FACT that the brain of a team is mostly controlled by the HC and QB in "real time".
Both rookies.
IMO anyone who predicted a 3-0 star is lying.

I can't say I predicted a 3-0 start but I felt that this team even with a rookie coach & QB could be 6-2 or 5-3 by the bye, I thought they would lose the N.E and the Saints game but every other game was a winnable game, but at 4-4 with some playoff life left if this team gets off to a hot start beginning with the Jags then maybe for once we can say this isn't the "SAME OL MOTHER F!@!CKIN JETS!!!"

I hope so anyway its about time the fan base gets to root for a contending team

Totally agree.
IMO the Jags game is HUGE. Jets win and we're all looking to the next game. If they lose we'll all be wondering if Rex giving them the week off was a mistake.
Jets win 37-13. Cheer

I guess I was wrong, it looks its the same ol jets, the defense played well in the 2nd half and just like that when the Jets take the lead the Jags moves down field with ease Drew-Jones even takes a knee to avoid scoring and keeping the jags offense on the field to keep the clock rolling, unless the Jets run off 6 in a row, this will be another loss season
