I hope you don't mind me answering your question Taz.

Williams was a transfer from Arkansas to USC and yes, Sanchez is very familiar with Williams as he was (imo) his go to guy his one year of starting at USC.

Williams is about 6'1 but he looks bigger than that to me, he's a great route runner which allows him to get open so much and create big plays. His long smooth running strides make him dangerous if given some space, he'll win a lot of jump ***** with his vertical leap and his good hands make him a reliable target. He's a good athlete but certainly not a burner type. Williams is also capable of returning punts which he has done at USC.

I wouldn't pick him in the first round and a lot of it will depend on his combine numbers but if he's there in the 2nd round he would be an interesting option.

Only an inch taller, Williams sounds like a duplication of our own Jericho Cotchery. If only Braylon Edwards had a brain and subsequent focus he would complement JC perfectly. It is hard to believe he is only 6'3" tall. He has the length of a man much taller, but the hands and head of an alligator.

I love that comparison Lucky. The only difference imo is Williams takes longer strides and Cotchery is much tougher.

If Braylon Edwards had a brain and was capable of focusing, an inebriated midget with one leg would look good playing opposite of him. Edwards has everything as far as talent to be a superstar. He had one year where he wasn't bothered by the drops and had a monster season. I believe that was the year the Browns went 10-6 and still missed the playoffs. He showed what he's capable of but can he did it again?

Careful listening in the huddle, running geometrically sound and sharp routes takes concentration and some degree of intelligence. Catching the ball requires focus without brain drifting and thought floating. Perhaps that accounts for too much invisibility and drops. When attending to detail and focusing,Edwards can utilize his enormous gifts. Can we depend on him doing it consistently? That will be the question Tannenbaum will ask himself and when answered will decide his future here.

Anyone know what Edwards and Gholstons GPAs were in college??That maybe an indicater?Edwards IS truel a HUGE question mark,IMO,can he like you say FOCUS on his job(same as Gholston)enuff to perform, more than just sporadically,in Gholstons case, cant even get on sidelines
.
That leads me to another point of contention with me!The huge contracts should ALLWAYS be based performance ,IF you dont produce, you dont get that huge money, but that aint gonna happen!
