There is no shame in not stopping Herring
Since 2002 (16 fights) Herring has been stopped only 3 times. And those were by Nog, Fedor and Cro Cop. And lets not forget that Herring took Nog to a decision at UFC 73. And Brock is hardly a lay and pray fighter. Just because he has a wrestling background lets not try and portray him as Koschek part 2. And taking a look at his losses, since when is there shame in losing to Nog, Fedor, Cro Cop, Vitor, or Tanner. The other losses were either decision (where I think there is little rhyme or reason to how they go) or due to injury. Herring is far from a can. Much credit to Brock for not going the Kimbo route and putting himself into the fire. |

Herring does nothing for me as a fighter. Hopefully this beatdown leads him out the door.
Brock came in and said he'll fight whoever and the UFC has given him just that, he has no choice in taking a Kimbo route or not. I'd like to see those 2 in a standup fight though. I'm far from a Koscheck fan but he has vastly improved all aspects of his game and is one of the most rapidly improving fighters in UFC right now. |

Fighters can request and certainly can turn down fights. Brock has not taken any easy fights.
And Kos is brutal to watch. He is the reason for the term brawl and stall |
