Man, I wasn't looking to get this PPV, having already ordered one in the month but its hard to turn down missing an IronMan match which are special matches and few and far between in the WWE. I've always wondered what 2 would have the fortitude and stamina to go an hour in today's WWE and got the answer - Cena v. Orton will put on a great match. That last match between them was a classic.
Now we've got a Miz v. Morrison match and Team RAW looks great. We'll find out Team SD soon too.
Whem Vinny mac first announced this PPV I KNOW I remember hearing Him say that that it was going to feature 7 Smack Vs Raw matches the winners of which would man their brand's team in the 14 man Braging Rights Tag match main event . To me that sounded better than what they are going with now nut that is just My opinion.
Also, to Me 1 hour of Cena ( iron man match vs Punk )is about 55 minutes too much .
The SD team is vastly inferior to the RAW team. Lots of young guys in there which is cool but they shouldn't be much of a match to the RAW team. Should be interesting how they book that match.
anyone else throw up a little thinking about watching Cena and Orton wrestle yet again, and this time for an hour?the rivalry was great, the first 6 times...lets mix it up a little!
So I guess you guys don't like old school feuds? Feuds back in the 70s, 80s lasted years. Bret/HBK, Austin/Vince, Austin/Rock, Foley/UT, Hogan/Macho, Steamboat/Jake the Snake, Dreamer/Raven, etc. This is a throwback to that. If you've followed the history of this feud, it has escalated with each match. An Ironman match is as old school as it gets. I don't know how many of you have actually watched PPV's in recent years but I can tell you that Orton's PPV matches rarely disappoint and while Cena's matches have gotten predictible with its outcomes, his matches with Orton haven't been so predictible and they push each other well.
I know its the cool thing to hate on Cena but an Ironman match is special no matter who is in it because its usually 2 guys at the very top of their game.
they do? Wow, I guess you haven't seen their last 2 matches?
You're entitled to your opinion of course but I'm just trying to make conversation with wrestling fans since this is the latest PPV and no one is talking about anything else like TNA or ROH.
Just trying to give this board something to talk about

I think it's more that the main event in 11 of the past PPV's has been Cena Vs Ortan. There are other superstars and other fueds that deserve the spotlight too . How do You think the rest of the WWE roster feels to always have to take a back seat to Cena Vs Ortan ?
iron man matches are great when the two wrestlers in it can actually wrestle.Cena and Orton are not very good technical wrestlers, which is going to make for a very boring and long drawn out iron man match.
