Just some quick notes from the game:


1. I was wondering when I went in if the rest of Sabreland would be bent on booing AO every time he touched the puck. Well, they were, and now I've read quite a bit of criticism about it. All I can say is: Who cares if AO gets booed? Does it really bother you? I thoroughly enjoyed booing him every time he touched the puck, and it seemed like he was the only person who enjoyed more than those of us booing him. You could tell he wanted to put his hand to his ear after her scored (a la last season), but he realized the score at the time would have made that look silly. He takes it in a good natured manner, and so should the rest of you crybabies. Take the sand out of your vaginas and have some fun, that's what it's all about.

2. Let's hope Lindy Ruff never gets the foolish notion of splitting up Vanek - Roy - Afinogenov again. I don't think anything else needs to be said about this.

3. Campbell and Spacek are the #1 defensive paring. No insult intended to Hank and Toni, but they just aren't as good.

4. Mike Ryan does not dererve to be on the roster. He can't skate, create, or stickhandle. Peters can at least do one thing very well, Ryan can't do anything.

5. Get well soon, Teppo. The drop off from defenseman 5 to defenseman 6 right now is noticable. Insert a healthy Teppo into this lineup and we have a very solid D corp. (Assuming Spacek and Kalinin don't disappear)

6. 54 shots on goal is a heck of a number. You have to go back to 1992 against the Hartford Whalers (dirty Carolina Hurricanes now) for the last time Buffalo peppered a goalie so well in regulation.
